Daniel E. Thiery, Ph.D. (2003) in Medieval Studies, University of Toronto, is Assistant Professor of Medieval History at Iona College. He is a co-editor of A 'Great Effusion of Blood'? Interpreting Medieval Violence (Toronto, 2004).
