Giuseppe Contissa, Assistant Professor in Legal Informatics and IT Law at the University of Bologna. He has published extensively on AI and law, computable models of legal reasoning and knowledge, including Information Technology for the Law (Giappichelli, 2017). Giulia Lasagni, Assistant Professor in Criminal Procedure at the University of Bologna. She has extensively published on European criminal justice and its relationship with technological development, including Banking Supervision and Criminal Investigation. Comparing the EU and US Experiences (Springer/Giappichelli, 2019). Michele Caianiello, Full Professor in Criminal Procedure and Head of the Department of Legal Studies at the University of Bologna. He has published three monographs and several articles on crucial topics of criminal justices, especially from comparative and supranational perspectives. Giovanni Sartor, Full Professor in Legal Informatics at the University of Bologna and ERC winner with a project on computable law. He contributed to establishing the domain of AI and law, developing various models of legal reasoning and knowledge representation.
