This tutor book is suitable for use from the very first day of djembe playing. The method teaches beginners the basics of playing, together with information on the cultural background, exercises, practising tips and rhythm arrangements. As the easy-to-learn notation has been specially written for Djembe it is not necessary to be able to read music and the CD included presents all the basic exercises and rhythm arrangements in the book.
