This book is about work & pay. It is written by an economist, a doctor and a digital entrepreneur who explore the future of work. Automation will disrupt jobs, salaried employment will be scarce and individuals need to consider not just their work, but also their way of living and well being.By 2030, new technologies will have changed most work activities, and displaced some groups of workers all together. This will affect some 60% of the overall workforce. As a consequence, the level of independent workers, in comparison to those who have an employment contract, is likely to double and may reach over 50% of all jobs. The speed and impact of these changes is as yet, not well recognised by most people or organisations. The book describes a framework to help guide individuals in their transition to a successful future.
