Synopsis

The Syllie System

Whether you lead an organisation, a team — or your own life — The Syllie System meets you at the edge of the (un)known, where strategy meets self and deeper leadership begins.

What Does The Syllie System Offer?

  • Insight into the quiet yet powerful mechanisms that influence decisions, relationships, and results — shaping the way you lead and live.
  • Discovery of how your beliefs, protective patterns, and personal history shape your thoughts and actions — and how they may no longer serve you.
  • Recognition of the ways organisational structures shape — and sometimes limit — human potential.
  • Exploration of why certain skills are celebrated as talents, while deeper capacities often remain unseen.
Each chapter ends with blank pages for reflection, giving space to respond to thoughtful questions woven through the text. These prompts are not just exercises — they’re doorways to deeper leadership.

Why This Book — Because Your Essence Is Your Greatest Contribution

The Syllie System brings awareness to the subtle ways in which:
💠 thought may override the voice of the heart
💠 language and logic may lead us astray
💠 deeply rooted patterns may quietly shape the way we show up — in business and in life

This book invites you to bring your essence into your professional space — not just your experience.
After all, you don’t leave your personality at the door; you bring it in.

The Syllie System explores the power of intention — not just as a mindset, but as a way of shaping how we relate, lead, and create. It draws on the wisdom of the heart and the energy of words to support alignment — personally, professionally, and collectively, across teams and organisations.

A Deeper Invitation

Throughout this book, beliefs and coping mechanisms are illuminated — often acting like loyal travel guides, steering us through life as smoothly as possible.
Yet your body — and the systems around you — continue to signal when you drift from your authentic path.
At times, even ancestral patterns may speak, when something deeper longs to be seen and acknowledged.

So… Why The Syllie System?

From a distance, it may sound like a ‘silly’ system: we grow up learning to think and act through systems — while both often lead us away from our core.
Somewhere along the way, we lose sight of what matters most.

Does that sound familiar?
Then it’s time to truly touch what matters.

À propos de l'auteur

Born in 1965 in a small village in the north of Groningen, she diverged from the mainstream ― in both her thinking and her interests ― much like the other members of her family. Sensing what was at play without being able to name it, and naming what perhaps wished to remain veiled, occasionally worked against her. Yet within organisations, this intuitive perception found a professional purpose. She gravitated towards roles that allowed her to facilitate both individual and organisational development. Alongside her work, she pursued a range of courses that deepened her understanding of people and systemic dynamics. Her personal growth became both a mirror and a driving force. Throughout her life and career, she has consistently chosen to engage in what brings fulfilment and joy. After more than 35 years of professional experience, her path brought her to what she loves most ― and now pursues with full dedication: recognising how organisational systems ― with their structures and mechanisms ― often unconsciously influence human potential. She now brings together individual journeys and systemic organisational processes, always with the voice of the heart as a guiding principle. Because just as systems shape the individual, the subtle mechanisms within each person influence direction, decisions, and the course of systems ― often quietly, yet profoundly. With The Syllie System, she speaks to strategic leaders navigating the path ahead ― within organisations and within themselves ― and to anyone ready to step into deeper leadership of their own life.

À propos de la quatrième de couverture

From a distance, it may seem like a silly system: you learn to think and act through systems ― while both often lead you away from your core. Somewhere along the way, you lose sight of what you most deeply desire. Does that sound familiar?
And would you like to reshape your life?
Then perhaps it’s time to touch what truly matters.

The Syllie System invites you to explore how certain skills are used as if they were talents, how real talents remain hidden in the shadows, how thinking can obscure the voice of the heart, and how words and thoughts can lead you astray.
It shows how, often without realising it, you maintain these patterns as roadblocks on your path ― in both your personal and professional life.

Beliefs and protective patterns act like loyal travel guides, helping you navigate life as smoothly as possible. But your body ― and other signals ― will continue to speak for as long as you avoid your own path. Hidden dynamics from ancestral lines may also step in when something deeper calls to be seen.
All of this leaves deep imprints that, one day, may quietly steer you off course.

The Syllie System offers deeper insight into how you shape the direction of your life ― how systems and mechanisms influence that direction, and how powerful your own influence truly is.
You begin to hear yourself more clearly, and to feel ― more deeply ― what it is you truly want, even in the midst of chaos.
Your energy flows when you contribute from your essence.
And your background, your lived experience, makes that essence uniquely yours.

“A passion for (talent) development, for realising positive change, for touching the core of people and organisations ― is what defines The Syllie System.”
