HNlMS Zuiderkruis (1975-2012) was the second Fast Combat Support Ship of the
Royal Netherlands Navy. Primarily intended for Replenishment At Sea (RAS=UNREP operations) fuelling Nl Task Group and NATO units. As a modern design Zuiderkruis enabled a “one stop replenishment”and carried also AVCAT, fresh water and
stores/spare parts. A helicopter deck facilitated VERTREP.

Jantinus Mulder (1963) is founder of the publishing house Lanasta. With an educational background in the graphic industries and business, he is also a life-long modelmaker who builds shipmodels for customers. He has contributed articles in magazines and wrote some books. Henk Visser (1943) is former Communication Yeoman who joined the navy in 1962. Retiring as Warrant Officer in 1993. He was employed as volunteer staff in the Navy Museum and published articles and some books. He lives in Den Helder and is consultant for various maritime publications.
