The Rijksmuseum is restored and more beautiful than it has ever been. The original interior has been recovered under the direction of Cruz y Ortiz. Pierre Cuypers' original architecture and decor form once again a coherent whole. Daylight permeates the museum, re-establishing its original clarity. As a result a visit to the Rijksmuseum is a richer and more fulfilling experience. The book Rijksmuseum takes you on a visually stunning tour to the architectural highlights, the masterpieces in the collection - Van Gogh, Vermeer and Rembrandt amongst others - and out into the beautiful gallery.
