Synopsis

1960, Belgian Congo is granted independence in haste and what a freedom it turns out to be - total chaos with anarchy staring in the face. Eva, a young Canadian nurse, desperate to get away from the stifling atmosphere at work and a step mother at home, opts to work for the UN mission at Congo. Captain Gulshan, a young army surgeon from India also lands there with his country’s contribution to the UN effort. A chance meeting, the two soon turn into passionate lovers.
