He believed that business could be a powerful force for good, and he used his wealth and influence to support causes such as education, healthcare, and social welfare. Jamsetji's legacy continues to inspire and influence business leaders and entrepreneurs in India and around the world. Jamsetji passed away on May 19, 1904. His vision and values continue to live through the Tata Group and the many institutions he founded, including the Indian Institute of Science and the Tata Trusts.
