Synopsis

The In between is a collection of poems that speak of love, loss, hurt, and joy. Some are abstract, exploring the grandeur of the Almighty, the power of love, and the intensity of rejection. Others are focused on events, like Sunday football, and encounters with people and places. They are a rollercoaster of emotion and imagery, reflecting the rise and fall of a life in transition. Each poem tells its own story, a snapshot of the ordinary everyday, and the musings of the poet as she navigates her way through the in between.
