Soft cover. Etat : New. A chilling eyewitness account of the anti-Sikh violence. Among the few journalists to experience the full horror of the 1984 violence that followed and was carried on unchecked after Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's assassination, Sanjay Suri, then working as a young crime reporter with The Indian Express in New Delhi, brings together a wealth of fresh revelations about the violence and the search for justice thereafter, backed with personal experiences, interviews, and thorough examinations of existing records and the provisions of the Indian legal system, in his book. This third edition of Suri's critically acclaimed book adds a fresh perspective to the history that continues to haunt its survivors waiting for justice even 40 years after the incident, leaving us disturbed and moved in equal measures.
