Sam Falco is a midwestern heart living with west coast soul. She moved from the Chicago area when she was 22 and has called California's Inyo National Forest her home since. With an 8 month stint in the Utah's Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Healing and growing in the solace of nature has blossomed her lifelong gift of poetry. Her most cherished and notable poem was laid to rest with her loving Mawmaw when just 12 years old, not before reading it at her service as family wept and reminisced of love in human form. Always going against the grain and exploring a life less traveled. For 3 marvelous years she lived in an RV with her husband and their - terribly missed - three dogs. This cultivated a connection to Mother Earth and her mysterious teachings in ways she never expected. Now, at 37 and years on she lives heart centered and forever immersed in natures wonder. She was a former retail buyer when the pandemic came which ended her career. This gave her pause and clarity to reflect on what her heart has always yearned for: being an author. Sam enjoys blending poetry with her nature photography to move all who wish to indulge in her writings. At last, she is ready to lay bare her deep roots of emotions for the first time.
