Brian Garrison is a first-time poetry writer who has found healing by merging words of cynicism with random bursts of hope and love. After serving in the United States Army, with the 10th Mountain Division, and becoming lost in life with drugs and alcohol, writing became a cathartic outlet for navigating personal struggles. Currently residing in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, with his cat, Boston, Brian Garrison is exploring new creative avenues through college and building connections with fellow writers. A lover of music, especially heavy metal, he continues to find inspiration in both the highs and lows of life.
