The sufferings of the working class in India have largely remained
undocumented. The Malayalam novel 'Chuvanna Kaladikal' narrates the struggles of workers in Kalady plantation and the decisive intervention by AKG in their fight for existence and justice. Though the lives of the working classes have become the theme of many novels, this is the first novel based on the life of plantation workers. It not only throws light on the sufferings undergone by the workers, but reflects the energy imparted by AKG's intervention. It shows his determination to save the workers, even while his health was deteriorating. The original book is a Malayalam novel written by C. R. Das. Translated to English by Ajith Kumar. B and Edited by Shiny Ajit.Les informations fournies dans la section « Synopsis » peuvent faire référence à une autre édition de ce titre.
