Dr K.R. Kavya Krishna is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Humanistic Studies, IIT (BHU), Varanasi. She received her PhD from the Department of Cultural Studies, The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad on the topic 'Dance and Gender Performativity: Mohiniyattam and the Making of Malayalee Femininity. She has publications with reputed publishers such as Taylor and Francis, Springer, Cambridge Scholars and forthcoming publications from Routledge and Bloomsbury. She has received grants and presented research papers in the areas of Critical Dance Studies, Gender Studies and Cultural Studies in international conferences in India and abroad including University of Cambridge, University of Chester, University of Munster, University of London etc.

Dr Mythili Maratt Anoop is a Mohiniyattam artiste empanelled with ICCR and an Associate Professor at the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, GSHS, GITAM (deemed-to-be) University, Hyderabad Campus. She held the Tagore Scholarship for Cultural Research from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India (2020-21). She also teaches short term courses on art and communication at the National Institutes of Design, Ahmedabad, Bhopal and Kurukshetra. Her doctoral work in IIT Bombay was on the Semiotics of Mohiniyattam, and she has publications with reputed publishers such as Routledge, Mouton de Gruyter, and Cambridge Scholars in Dance Studies. She edited Scripting Dance in Contemporary India (2016) published by Lexington Books. She runs Moham Attakalari, an institute for Mohiniyattam in Hyderabad.
