Synopsis

The Silent Project: Forged on the Anvil of Kashmir is a poetic afghan shaped by the profound stillness of Kashmir. Utilizing the Remixed Poetry form and influenced by Outlook's June 2024 issue, it comprises 40 poems that blend phrases and words from journalism, personal narratives and stories. Vidya Premkumar weaves together themes of truth, sorrow, and resilience, showcasing the political and artistic complexities of a region filled with untold stories. The poems, a chorus of the unheard from the valley, urge you to listen not only with your ears but also with your conscience.
