Gopikrishna Parat is an engineer by profession and hails from Aluva, Kerala. Over the years, he has worked with project companies in the power and infrastructure sectors, based in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Currently, he resides in Bangalore with his family. His journey into poetry began with scribbling a few lines on social media, drawing deep inspiration from the people and situations he encountered throughout his life. These experiences have shaped his poetic voice and continue to influence his work. When he's not writing, Gopikrishna enjoys photography, traveling, and watching Kathakali performances-a traditional art form that holds a special place in his heart.
