From majestic temples, forts, and monuments with unique architectural features-to festivals that are celebrated throughout the year, guided by countless stories, every element of our tradition tells a tale. Adi Yogi and Adi Shakti are known by many names, reflecting profound layers of devotion and reverence. The beloved aartis (prayers) sung in devotion carry deep historical and spiritual origins. Historical dynasties like Marathas, Ranas, Cholas ruled this land, and valiant women defied social norms to leave a deep impact on the society. The book defines them all. Each region of Bharat boasts of its own textile, designs, dances & art forms, and knowing these, opens a world of fabric styles and craftsmanship, nurturing the blossoming of contemporary handloom artistry. Let's illuminate our minds to the true spirit of Bharat.

The author has keen interest in the knowledge related to Bharatiya culture & traditions as they offer insights into the Divine, Universe and the Human intellect. She has tried to bring this consolidated information into two volumes. A Dipsite, a science Graduate in Electronics and Post-graduate in English & Vedic Sciences, she is a mother of two & spouse of an IT consultant and has travelled to many countries learning about their cultural heritage, which inspired her to impart the knowledge of her own country to those interested in Bharat & Hinduism. A daughter of religious parents, the demise of her mother & brother, led her to write this book as a tribute to them. She is thankful to her sister and her family who encouraged her to write the book and to Dr Chakradhar Frend 'VedaNipuna', CEO, Maharshi VedVyas International Virtual Vedic University.
