Lermina published his first novels under the pseudonym William Cobb, marking the start of a diverse literary career. His works included novels, essays, and journalistic writings that reflected his views on justice, human rights, and the struggles of society. Throughout his life, he balanced his literary pursuits with political activism, using his writing as a means to advocate for change and highlight social issues. He passed away on 23 June 1915 in Paris, France, at the age of 76, leaving behind a significant contribution to both literature and political thought. He was survived by his child, Juliette Lermina-Flandre, who carried forward his name.
