Synopsis

These poems were derived from my short stories which I have been writing since I was in middle school. Though my intention was to submit my short stories, I decided putting my stories to rhyme would be an entirely new experience for me. The poems harbor my own personal fears, dreams, love and at times, guilt from past experiences.

I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Brownsville, TX; I call San Antonio, TX home since 2010. My favorite pastime is Reading, painting and creating customized pinatas and watching football. I enjoy watching my family play golf and have even mastered being a caddy. My quick getaway would be spending time at the beach under an umbrella reading a book.
