Agata Surma is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and performer whose work bridges the personal and the mythic. Born in Poland and educated at UC Berkeley and Cambridge, she weaves poetry, memory, and embodied experience into visual and literary forms. Her work often explores illness, femininity, ancestry, and the tension between love and liberation. After surviving breast cancer, she began writing this collection as a way to reclaim her voice and body. Agata lives between Europe and the U.S., and is passionate about sacred storytelling, surrealism, and ritual as a path to healing and transformation. This is her first poetry book.
