Verne's best-known works, including Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and Around the World in Eighty Days, stand out for their visionary depictions of technology and exploration, blending storytelling with scientific curiosity. Influenced by prominent writers such as Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, and Edgar Allan Poe, Verne developed a distinctive narrative style that combined rich detail with a sense of wonder. In 1857, he married Honorine Anne Hebee Morel, and they had one son, Michel Verne.
