He was under constant threat of losing his life during his stay Iran, for initial two years. Finally, his town was bombarded but luckily he escaped from death. Dr. T Y Shekar is a medical doctor (General Surgeon). Retired professor of General Surgery. He taught the surgery topics for medical students for over 20 years. Presently taking rest at home. He had an interest in writing about social miseries faced by human beings in the society. Good number his letters were published in a local paper in a letters column. He had professional publications i.e. Simplified General surgery and Bed Side clinics for the medical students. He also published 25 professional papers in various national and international journals.
