Synopsis
Nothing happens by coincidence. Life comes with a purpose. We are all placed in certain situations, conditions, places, and positions which include the parents you are born and your siblings associated with you and the spouse whom you are married and progeny. To continue, we are all like connecting the dots in a galaxy interrelated to each other in one way or the other. This lays the foundation and prepares yourself for the journey ahead, as my book will tell you about my parent’s background, my childhood and my educational background to my achievements and the present status. One thing I always believe, there is one purpose God has sent us to on this planet Earth we just have to identify that purpose, put all our energies into it and see that it materialize and help the mankind around us. This is a journey of a pathologist. After doing a diploma, I never thought I will be ahead of the department. Either I will establish and expand the department of pathology and blood bank or do any administrative work. Speed is time for what it has to be today, unfolding different phases. From senior resident to Registrar, Consultant and Administrator. Step by step how I got opportunities to carry forward many responsibilities with ease. Dr. Ratna Gosain Author is an alumnus of Kakatiya Medical College for MBBS and alumnus of Gandhi Medical College for Post-Graduation in Pathology and worked in the various posts from Registrar to senior resident and consultant pathologist and the majority of the experience is shared from the government service. The author has a short corporate experience where she was exposed to a lot of work, especially in areas of Gastrointestinal Pathology and Neuropathology. Presently she is working as Head of the Department ESIC Super Specialty Hospital Sanath Nagar Hyderabad (Telangana) India. Majority of the author’s work attributed to the expansion of services of laboratory medicine and establishment of a department of Pathology including the quality assurance.
