The design of centrifugal pump has evolved and passed through several development stages. Now a day the modelling and simulation of models is an important part for any turbo machinery before developing its prototype. In this book preliminary design aspects of various parts a centrifugal pump are discussed in detail. The performance analysis of the pump is also done, with the help of numerical investigations. This book may be useful for students of UG, PG and Research Scholars to give an insight to the centrifugal pump.
About the Authors:
Dr. Ruchi Khare completed her PhD in numerical simulation of turbo machines. She is Associate Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, MANIT, Bhopal. She has vast experience in the numerical and experimental investigations of turbo machines. She has published more than 75 paper in various SCI/SCOPUS indexed journals and conferences. Actively involved in research and consultancy work in various issues related to hydraulic pumps.
Dr. Vishnu Prasad is Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, MANIT, Bhopal. He has more than 30 years experience in teaching and research in hydraulic turbines and pumps. He has published more than 100 papers in various reputed journals and conferences. He is also associated with different research projects on design and development of hydraulic turbines and pumps.
Mr. Abdeali Travadi is a research student of Hydropower engineering at MANIT, Bhopal. He has published papers in various International conferences.
