R. C. Goel obtained BE and ME Degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Roorkee (Now IIT Roorkee) in 1956 &1962 and a Doctor of Engineering Degree from Technical University, Dresden, Germany in 1969. He had been on the Faculty in the Dept of Electrical Engineering at the University of Roorkee (1958-62). He was Assistant Professor, Professor & Head and Principal at MMM Engineering College, Gorakhpur (Now MMM University of Technology) during 1962-92. He had been on Foreign Assignment as a Professor at the University of Basrah, Iraq thrice during 1977-85. He was the Founder Director, of HCST, Mathura (1996-99). He also worked as Director, Executive Director, Principal Advisor, and Director General of Unison Education Foundation (2000-13). He has been the Founder and Chancellor of DIT University, Dehradun since April 2013. He worked as Chancellor till 31.8.2018. From now on, he will hold the position of Advisor General of BOG of DIT University. Also, he has been nominated for Life Term Member of BOG. He has a passion for teaching and has been an Excellent Teacher and students always remained fully satisfied. He is an internationally acknowledged authority in the area of his expertise. Over sixty-one research papers and numerous thought-provoking discussions are to his credit in National and International Journals. He is a recipient of numerous prestigious awards and distinctions including a Gold Medal by IE (I) 1976. He is a Life Fellow of IE (I).
Bharti Dwivedi obtained BE from GCET, now NIT, Raipur, and M Tech from IIT Kanpur in 1979 and 1985 respectively. She did PhD in Electrical Engineering from Pt R S Shukla University, Raipur. Dr. Dwivedi was a faculty member in the Government Engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh from July 1979 up to 1987. Then onwards she continued at the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow, from where she retired as a Professor. She has held various academic and administrative positions in the Institute as well as the State Technical University including Dean PGSR, Convener-Board of Studies, Convener-Research Degree Committee ( all at AKTU, Lucknow), Dean Academics and Head of the Department (IET, Lucknow), etc. She has guided twelve PhD candidates and has more than a hundred technical papers published in various National and International journals and conferences to her credit. Dr Dwivedi is a recipient of Rashtriya Gaurav Samman conferred by IIFS. She is a member of IEEE, Life Fellow of IE (I), Life member of ISTE, Society of Power Engineers and Lucknow Management Association.
Anurag Tripathi obtained a BE from Government Engineering College Rewa, M.P. in 1993, M Tech from MNIT Allahabad in 2002, and PhD from GBTU, Lucknow in 2010, all from Electrical Engineering. He worked at Steel Authority of India Limited for four and a half years before joining the Electrical Engineering Department of IET Lucknow where he has been working in various capacities for the last twenty-three years. He held the position of Controller of Examination, AKTU, Lucknow for five years. Presently he is working as Professor and Head of the Department. He has guided eleven PhD candidates. He has more than fifty papers in international conferences and journals of International repute. He has also written a book on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, co-authored by Dr. Bharti Dwivedi.
