Synopsis

These charming coloring images for relaxing and creative moments were printed with dark blue or dark brown outlines on 70 lb (105 g/m2) paper on one side only. You can use them for free-floating coloring, or it is also possible to use coloring images to create unique symbols for yourself. Choose one to three words that have a special meaning for you and that you would like to think more about. For example, write "thankfulness, early morning lake, peace" above your image. While you color, you may begin to connect with the words and build associations with them. You can think about their topics in general, or say the words silently in your mind while your pen or pencil is moving. If one of the words is a lovely place, you can imagine this place while coloring. The book has an appendix of 50 virtue cards for more ideas on creating individual symbols and seeing the positive in people around you and within yourself. Other appendixes in the book include instructions on drawing a six-fold symmetry image with a compass, a ruler and compass construction on how to draw a template for a three-dimensional tetrahedron, and directions on how to build a tetrahedron from the template. Teachers can freely make paper copies from the pages of their book for classroom use. US letter sized edition. All pages are printed in color.
