Anxo Angueira is Associate Professor of Galician Literature at the University of Vigo. He has written books of fiction, poetry and essay in the Galician language. He is President of the Rosalía de Castro Foundation in Padrón and has produced comprehensive editions of this poet's three major books of poetry, two of which were written in Galician and one in Spanish. He was born and lives in the village of Manselle.

Kathleen March is a renowned Galician specialist, Professor Emerita at the University of Maine, and the translator of important Galician authors into English, including Rosalía de Castro, Álvaro Cunqueiro, Miguel Anxo Fernández and Ramón Otero Pedrayo.
