Eric Tan started his career in Kuala Lumpur in 1974 after attaining a few years of working experience in his home town in Terengganu. Since then, he has been working in various corporates and lastly as a manager in a multinational company. Having worked in the corporate world for more than four decades, he has since acquired vast experience, knowledge and strong skills in various areas. He is now semi-retired and remains to be part of the company’s team mainly involves in advisory functions. Reading is one of his hobbies. Being a keen learner he likes to collect and take notes of information, texts and articles of his interest. Besides through his careers and self study at leisure, he regularly attended various trainings and seminars in enhancing his knowledge and personal advancement. Writing of books, educational scripts and articles has become his passion in the recent years. Currently, he is the advisor of a tuition centre group in Kuala Lumpur; the Chairman of the advisory committee of script writing in English and Chinese languages for educational TV programmes. He is also advisors for a number of corporates both local and abroad.
