Inspired by real accounts of rape, human trafficking and gang warfare in Trinidad and Tobago, a Caribbean nation with one of the highest crime rates in the world.
Sharona Baptiste is a 26-year-old Attorney who was recently engaged to her fiancé Justin Pilgrim. Her old life ends when she is violently raped by an untouchable gang leader who will not be satisfied until Sharona becomes his property in the most sadistic manner imaginable.

The story explores Sharona's struggle to reclaim her shattered life even while she is pursued by the darkest elements of the criminal underworld. Everything is at stake including her life and the lives of those who she loves.

Written as a fast-paced crime thriller this book aims to both entertain and educate the reader about the realities of rape & human trafficking.

One chapter in the book gives an accurate legal breakdown of rape, consent and human trafficking for the edification of the reader.
