In addition, 13 well-known Chinese writers, commissioned by editors at Rongshu Publishing, have contributed short stories presenting daily life from the points of view of different ages, genders, professions, income levels and life situations. It contains essays by well-known Chinese sociologist Deng Weizhi and political scientist Cao Peilin which complete the book.

À propos de l'auteur

Dominic Barton, a Canadian, has been living in Asia for the past 10 years with his wife and two childen. He is currently based in Shanghai where he leads the Asia practice of McKinsey & Company. He has a passion for history and understanding how things work at the front line. and wrote this book as a personal project. Dominic spends most of his professional life serving financial institutions and regulators in Asia and is the co-author of Dangerous Markets: Managing Financial Crises.
