Singaporian Sarmukh Singh at 56 years old is a Flight Engineer who has nurtured a writing ambition since young. His profession allows him a lot of reading, writing and thinking time, essential ingredients for a writer. His first book "Short Pants No Underwear" is about life in multi-racial Singapore and Malaysia, ranging from deep personal memories of the various places he had stayed, depending on where his Police Officer father was stationed, to taking satirical swipes at family members' antics at gatherings. He often mixes his descriptions with humorous asides and slapstick. He is now busy with his second book about his life in the Airlines.
