A little gentle edge wear to cards covers and perhaps a little creaminess to pages - off bright - else neat, clean and tight throughout. Lawyer Teo Soh Lung's memoir of her arrest and framing but the Singapore authorities in 1987 for being part of the so-called Marxist Conspiracy. Her imprisonment, without trial, came as part of the People's Action Party (PAP) Government's Operation Spectrum. She was detained for two and half years at the Whitley Detention Centre and, following her release, resumed her human rights legal practice, advocating for the abolition of detention without trial.
