Professor Liu takes charge of National Natural Science High-speed Railway Joint Fund Key Project, National Natural Science Projects, Subproject of National 863 Program, Subprojects of National Science and Technology Support Program, Fok Ying-Tong Education Fund of Education Ministry, Railway Ministry Science and Technology Research and Development Program, Sichuan Youth Fund, etc. He has published more than 150 SCI and EI papers, and has 14 authorization invention patents and 3 software copyright. He has published an academic book in Chinese and an academic book in English.
