Synopsis

This is the conference proceedings for the 18th International Conference on Hadron Spectroscopy and Structure (HADRON2019), held in Guilin, China. It is among the most important conference series in the field of hadron spectroscopy and structure. Collecting more than 130 contributions from this conference, the book spans over the topics of meson and baryon spectroscopy, exotic hadrons, hadron production and interactions, analysis tools, QCD and hadron structure, hadrons in nuclear environment and hypernuclei. Summaries of the recent discoveries from Belle, BESIII, LHCb and other high-energy experiments, as well as recent theoretical developments in the above mentioned topics, are contained in this volume, rendering it as a valuable resource for researchers working on hadron spectroscopy and structure.

À propos de l?auteur

Feng-Kun Guo, professor, Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his PhD in 2007 from the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow, and later on as a project leader, in the Jülich Research Center and University of Bonn up to 2015. He works in the field of hadron physics and effective field theory. He has published more than 100 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has made many contributions in the study of exotic hadrons. E.g., he plays an important role in theoretical investigations towards understanding the nature of positive-parity charmed mesons, the X(3872) and other exotic hadron candidates. Wei-Hong Liang, professor, Guangxi Normal University. She obtained her PhD in 2003 from the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and then worked as a physics teacher in Guangxi Normal University till now. She works in the field of hadron physics and effective field theory, including topics on strong interaction, hadron structure, molecular states, decay of hadrons, mechanism of hadron production, etc. She has published more than 50 research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
