Wenhong Zhang, is head of Shanghai COVID-19 Medical Treatment Expert Team, director of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Huashan Hospital of Fudan University, doctoral supervisor. He is currently the director of the Department of Internal Medicine, Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, vice chairman of the Internal Medicine Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, secretary general of the Infectious Diseases Branch of Chinese Medical Association, vice chairman of the Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control Branch of China Preventive Medicine Association, chairman of the Infectious Diseases Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, honorary president of the Shanghai Association of Infectious Diseases Physicians, editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases, deputy editor-in-chief of Emerging Microbes and Infections, and Deputy editor-in-chief of International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases. He has won many scientific and technological achievement awards such as the Chinese Medicine Award and the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. Under his leadership, the Department of Infectious Diseases of Huashan Hospital of Fudan University has topped the National Hospital Department Ranking List (prepared by Fudan University) for nine consecutive years.
