Dr Bhaso Ndzendze is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Johannesburg. His areas of research and teaching include technology dynamics international relations and the fourth industrial revolution. He holds qualifications on artificial intelligence and blockchain from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD in International Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Professor Tshilidzi Marwala is Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Johannesburg and a Full Professor in its Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment. An author of over 15 books and hundreds of articles on artificial intelligence and machine rationality among others, he also serves as Deputy Chairperson of the South African Presidential Commission on the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
