Jinnan Wang is an expert in environmental planning and management, elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2017. He is the president of the Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning, the director of the National Key Laboratory of Environmental Planning and Policy Simulation, and a PhD supervisor.

He has successively served as an expert in 6 special general groups including the National Air Pollution Causes and Control，and more than 20 academic institutions including the chairman of the Global Association of Chinese Environmental Experts (PACE).

He has made outstanding contributions to the development of environmental planning and environmental economics in China, he has presided over and completed more than 30 national plans including China's 11th, 12th and 13th five-year environmental protection plans, key river basin and regional environmental protection plans, air pollution prevention and control action plan, and BeijingTianjin Hebei regional environmental protection plan, and systematically constructed the decision-making plan of China's pollution reduction project, the implementation and management of pollution reduction projects and the socio-economic environmental impact assessment theory, method and technical system of emission reduction projects. He has won the special government allowance of the State Council, direct contact experts of the CPC Central Committee, China Youth Science and technology award, special award for green Chinese figure, national outstanding scientific and technological worker, earth (Sweden) award, national environmental science and technology leader and 22 national and ministerial science and technology awards.

Hongqiang Jiang is a senior fellow, majoring in population, resources and environmental economics, mainly engaged in environmental planning and policy simulation research. At present, he is the executive deputy director of the State Key Laboratory for Environmental Planning and Policy Simulation, the consulting expert of many international projects such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, China EU, China Sweden and China India and the first batch of top-notch young talents in environmental protection in China.

Now he is also the Deputy Secretary General of the professional committee of environmental planning of the Chinese society of Environmental Sciences, a member of the environmental economics branch of the Chinese society of Environmental Sciences, a director of the professional committee of resource and environmental accounting of the Chinese accounting society, a member of the professional committee of environmental audit of the Chinese auditing society, a director of the China circular economy and Prediction Research Center, and a Deputy director of the professional committee of environmental audit of Chinese society of Environmental Sciences.

Gang Yan is a senior fellow and the vice president of the Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning. He is mainly engaged in atmospheric environment planning and policy, climate change response and other research, in addition, he organizes and carries out research on peak carbon emission of the industry. As one of the main implementers, he drafted the three-year action plan for winning the blue sky defense war, the action plan for comprehensive treatment of air pollution in autumn and winter in key areas, the work plan for ultra-low emission transformation of coal-fired power plants and iron and steel industry, and the comprehensive treatment plan of volatile organic compounds. As one of the performers, he won one second prize of China Science and Technology Progress Award and three first prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology awards.
