Synopsis

This book represents a contemporary and subjective vision of French illustration art. The great majority of the artists featured here are young designers who have benefitted from a rich and long tradition of French artistry. They are able to mature earlier in their works, creating wonderful art pieces in the fields of painting, fashion design, and literature. Today the relation between these fields of painting and illustration is still alive and reflected clearly in this collection. The chapters in the book are divided according to the techniques applied in the works, and at the end of the book there is an index of all the participants accompanied with personal portraits, their inspirations and the places where their works appear. A short biography is also offered along with the works of every designer.
