Choo Kah Ying is a writer and educator who is currently home schooling her ten-year-old autistic son, Sebastien. Since her return to Singapore in 2005 (after working as an academic researcher in the US for over 10 years) she has been active in raising public awareness about autism and empowering parents. She has published articles on raising and educating autistic children in The Straits Times and Today (Singapore).
