À propos de l'auteur

Karen Lam has been a media and business consultant for over 20 years, helping organisations in the region in the areas of presentations and media communication. In 2012, she took on another role, returning to her first love in television as host and series producer of the business personality series, Power List Asia, on Channel News Asia.

Karen started off her career as a broadcast journalist with the general news desk of Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now known as MediaCorp). She covered local stories interviewing politicians, business people and other newsmakers in the local and international scenes. She later went on to anchor the nightly news.

When the opportunity to explore the world of corporate training arose, Karen jumped at it to get perspectives into people development and business operations from a variety of industries and countries. The opportunities she's had to rub shoulders with captains of industry, to walk the factory floors with them and hear from the people who keep the organization running — both on-and off-camera, as a journalist and as a consultant — has given her rare insights into the intricacies and vicissitudes of business Asia.
