Zichen Xu Professor and doctoral supervisor. Graduated with a Ph.D. from Ohio State University, USA, in June 2016. Currently serving as the Associate Dean of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at Nanchang University. A high-level talent introduction, academic discipline leader, and among the first batch selected for Jiangxi Province's "Double-Thousand Talent Plan". During the tenure at Nanchang University, has taught over twenty system-related courses to undergraduates and graduate students.

Main research and teaching focus on database system software, including data-intensive computing, intelligent computing, high-efficiency computing, and distributed data storage. Has published over 50 high-level journal and conference papers as the first author in the fields of databases and distributed system architectures.

Serves on flagship journals including IEEE, ACM TKDE, TC, TPDS, and TCC, and has acted as program committee vice-chair and member for international flagship conferences such as IEEE ICDE, INFOCOM, BigData, IWQoS, and ICDCS. A researcher in computer database systems.

Shengbo Chen received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, in 2013. From 2013 to 2019, he was a Senior Research Engineer with the Qualcomm Research Center, San Diego, CA, USA. He is currently a Professor with the School of Software, Nanchang University, China. He published over 40 papers and holds more than 50 U.S. patents on 5G and AI area. Dr. Chen received the Best Student Paper Award for WiOpt 2013.
