Yang Kaizhong is Secretary of the Party Committee of the Research Institute for Eco-civilization, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and president of the China Regional Science Association. He has been long engaged in urban and regional economics and ecological economics research. The main representative works include "Research on New Economic Geography"(2021), "Regional Science in China for Modernization"(2021), and so on.
