Dr. Ummu Raihanah Hashim holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA and currently serves as a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Institute for Infrastructure Engineering and Sustainable Management (IIESM), UiTM. With an extensive background in mechanical engineering, she has amassed over a decade of hands-on experience in spearheading and overseeing multifaceted works and research endeavors. Her proficiency extends to the leadership and management of experimental R&D projects within both academic and industrial contexts. These projects encompass a diverse array of domains, including advanced composite materials, polymers, nanomaterials, mechanical engineering and structures. Dr. Raihanah's primary scholarly pursuits revolve around advanced nanomaterials, polymer nanocomposites, and sustainable materials, showcasing her dedication to the forefront of scientific inquiry.
Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Kamil Arshad graduated with a degree inCivil Engineering from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia, M.Sc. (Highway and Transportation Engineering) from Universiti Putra Malaysia and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA. He has about 20 years' experience in the civil engineering industry with various organizations in Malaysia. He is currently Professor (Highway and Transportation) in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Deputy Director of the Institute for Infrastructure Engineering and Sustainable Management (IESM). He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Boards of Engineers, Malaysia, and Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (FIEM). His current research interests include sustainable pavement materials, highway and transportation engineering.
