Synopsis

The female protagonists of Féiguele and other women face human relationships with a complete abandonment of the traditional Latin moral code, and treat sex with a casual indifference that could well belong to the environment of the singles bars in New York or London. In her prose we find an ironic nonchalance that allows her female characters to examine, condemn or ridicule the male condition. Above all, he has managed to describe a new morality based on the need to overcome alienation and hostility in the world of modern Buenos Aires ". (H. Ernest Lewald, -Latin American Research Review, January 1980, - about Féiguele )
Féiguele and other women is the first book by Cecilia Absatz.
