Synopsis

This book is a supplementary reader in Science, which serves as a primer on how to answer questions of various types in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The book provides the formats for answering the various test items that are usually set in science examinations. The book therefore serves as a guide to the one learning the basics of answering test items in science. Also, the book improves upon the skills with which the student of Science answers questions on all aspects of a topic in the following ways: The type of format for answering a particular type of test item in Science is taught, through answering specific questions on the particular aspect of the topic dealt with. To enable the learner to acquire the skills for answering test items, the principles used are applied to selected topics in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. As these topics are studied, the student improves upon his ability to answer theoretical questions. The learner of Science at the High School level is taught the format of the model answer, by using a variety of test items that are posed under each aspect of a particular topic dealt with in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. This enables the student to understand the topic well enough to answer the questions that have been set correctly. Each topic is divided into a number of sub-topics, each of which deals with a particular aspect of the main topic. The main aspects of a selected topic on which questions are set are as follows: Topic- This is the subject matter being studied which is divided up into the sub-topics below as follows: Sub-topic 1: The nature of the subject matter dealt with.
