In the US he worked for The New York Times and the Washington Post.He was founding editor on two influential magazines, Adrenalin, (2000) and (Huck 2007) - and haspublished two works of non fiction: September (Dogstar Press, 2007) and The Book of Surfing (Bantam 2008).
