One Block from Disaster — Book Two
One block clicks. Far away, another answers.
The Pillager war is over. Kai is ready to rebuild.
Then blue-black Sculk appears where it should not exist. It listens through solid stone. It follows ancient paths beneath the world. And one careless sound could wake a Warden.
Kai brings armor. Tavi brings wool. Deep underground, the softest thing in their packs may give them their best chance to get home.
Together with Luma and Kes, they enter cities with no sky, where wool is more useful than armor and the safest plan may be leaving valuable gear behind.
To stop the spread, Kai must cross a Warden's path without fighting and trust the smallest word in Tavi's plan:

But the Sculk is not the only thing moving below. Someone—or something—is fixing a perfect tunnel one block at a time.
