Synopsis
Some graves don’t stay buried.
Years before Knox Fosser walked into Northmoor in The Pauper’s Field, he was a sergeant in the French Foreign Legion fighting a brutal war in Mali.
Then a mission went terribly wrong.
Buried among the dead after a massacre in the desert, wounded, hunted, and cut off from his unit, Fosser claws his way back from the grave with one purpose: to learn who betrayed his men and what happened to Awa, the woman he loves.
The answers lead into a violent world of terrorists, traffickers, corrupt alliances, and men who believe the desert can hide anything.
