Synopsis
What if it is too loud? What if I trip? What if no one talks to me?
Before the Moon-Lantern Festival, every worried thought makes a tiny glowing Whatiffle pop into Miro's
backpack. Soon the bag is humming, wiggling, and sneezing sparks—until all those fuzzy worries burst
loose in the middle of the celebration and create one wonderfully funny mess.
Miro discovers that worries are trying to protect him, even when they make terrible guides. He gives
them names, slows his breath, and looks for the smallest brave step instead of one giant leap.
This warm, interactive picture book helps children put big feelings into words and pictures without
dismissing what they feel. A repeat-aloud courage refrain makes it an inviting read-aloud ritual for home,
